Life seems to STOP, when you here the word Cancer and then a family members name.
When we got the word of my brother-in-law's diagnosis we where, as would most people, completely ah struck. Then the process of learning what he was fighting, and then to contemplate what we could do to help. Will, as most people who where close knew him by, was one of those souls that became a good friend the moment you meet him and shook his hand. His character traits showed when you started to see all those who came to help with the house, meals, and tons of incidentals, which greatly assisted the entire Lewis family in their time of need. This out pouring of help showed me the good in people.
This is when I discovered the importance of supplementation.
In Will's struggle he was the ever giving and caring person not wanting to be a burden or a problem till the day the almighty called.
If I learned anything in his battle it was how to be a good person, and to take care of yourself, because when you down and out your thoughts turn to to not be burden and your abilities to be the person you have strive to be all your life now is pulling those you love into thoughts of lose and dis pare. Will's legacy will carry on way past this day and all those to come. I lost a true friend back then, but his memory is never far from thought.
Then, on Oct 10th 2005, I discovered what felt like a lump on Marianne’s rib under her right arm. Now Marianne at the time worked as a medical secretary for a Cancer Center. Needless to say the WHAT IF'S, for the entire weekend set in. On Monday morning she consulted the head Doctor of the Cancer Center, who immediately sent her to get a MRI. To make a long story short, it was Breast Cancer. Now all those stories of Will (Charles Lewis) came to be my stories. I saw the good nature of fellow workers, neighbors, church, people we didn't even know come help us in our time of need.
When you see someone you love lying on a table getting radioactive injections that light up their entire blood stream. Witnessing these injections you see the discomforting and helplessness of your loved one. All the stuff in life ceases to exist. All the stuff you worry about, the times you got mad because your neighbor who didn't mow his grass often enough, your children didn't clean their room again, all those little things, because that is exactly what they are **** little ****. Life is too short to focus on what others are not doing, but one should always look at what good people ARE doing. And better yet on what you -- yourself -- are doing.
So now we have every day, to wake up and enjoy --- cherish, and we embrace and live day to day.
The reason I say day to day, because we truly do not know what tomorrow brings, so live your tomorrows today.
What I learned back during Will's battle was that 98% of all disease can be traced back to a mineral deficiency. I Looked for an affordable and body friendly source and found Newvision. Their are many sources and more every day coming to the table, what I found with Newvision was a good solid track record and established debt free company. Back then I saw the need for supplementation for me and my family because you can not get your daily need through the foods we eat in today’s fast paced life styles that my children and my wife and I live. Then Newvision developed a subsidiary company taking it's #1 and #2 sellers and combining them to form a new product called Vemma.
This is when I saw the possibility to help others so they can help their selves with nutrition. I see this as both, to help my family both physically and financially and I'm putting this information out their for those who see this as I do!
I Hope you ""JOIN me"" in getting the word out and helping as many people as we possibly can! For I wish no one to experience a Family members name followed by the word Cancer!
God Bless you and yours,
Jeff
